Ishi Nail Lab (“Ishi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses Meta technologies to communicate with customers through supported messaging services, including Instagram.

This page explains how information received through our Meta integrations may be used and how you can request deletion of information associated with your interactions with Ishi.

Information We May Receive

When you communicate with Ishi through Instagram or another supported Meta messaging service, we may receive and process information that Meta makes available to us in connection with that interaction.

Depending on the service and your interaction, this may include:

  • your platform-specific account or user identifier;
  • your name, username, or other profile information made available through the applicable Meta service;
  • messages and message-related information you send to Ishi;
  • images, videos, audio, documents, or other attachments you send;
  • message timestamps and conversation information;
  • replies, reactions, postbacks, or other supported messaging interactions; and
  • technical information necessary to receive, process, secure, troubleshoot, and deliver messages.

The information available to Ishi depends on the Meta service being used, the permissions granted to our application, and Meta’s applicable APIs and policies.

How We Use This Information

We use information received through Meta messaging services to operate and support conversations between you and Ishi. This may include responding to inquiries, providing information about our services, assisting with appointments or customer-service requests, maintaining conversation history where appropriate, preventing abuse, securing our systems, and troubleshooting or improving our messaging service.

Some messages may be processed using automated systems or artificial intelligence to help Ishi understand and respond to customer inquiries. Where an interaction requires access to another Ishi service or business system, information will be used only as necessary for the requested interaction and subject to the applicable authorization and safeguards.

We do not treat your Meta or Instagram identity as proof that you are the owner of an unrelated Ishi account, appointment, order, or other customer record. Additional verification may be required before account-specific information is disclosed or consequential changes are made.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing our messaging services, maintaining appropriate business records, resolving disputes, protecting our systems, complying with legal obligations, and enforcing applicable agreements.

Retention periods may vary according to the type of information and the reason it is retained.

When information is no longer required, we may delete or anonymize it in accordance with our applicable policies and legal obligations.

Request Deletion of Your Meta or Instagram Data

You may request deletion of personal information that Ishi has received or stored in connection with your Meta or Instagram interactions with us.

To submit a deletion request, contact Ishi Nail Lab Privacy Team and clearly state that you are requesting deletion of your Meta or Instagram messaging data.

Please provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. This may include your Instagram username or other relevant account information. Do not send us your password, access token, authentication code, or other account credentials.

We may ask you to provide additional information when reasonably necessary to verify your identity, identify the records associated with your request, protect another person’s information, or prevent fraudulent deletion requests.

After we can reasonably identify the applicable records, we will process the request in accordance with applicable law and our legal obligations.

What Happens After a Deletion Request

Once a valid request has been verified, Ishi will delete or anonymize applicable personal information within our control unless retention of particular information is necessary or permitted for legitimate purposes, such as complying with applicable law, resolving disputes, preventing fraud or abuse, protecting security, or establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.

A deletion request submitted to Ishi applies to information controlled by Ishi. It does not necessarily delete information independently controlled by Meta or remove your Instagram or Facebook account. Requests concerning information controlled directly by Meta should be made through the privacy and account-management mechanisms provided by Meta.

Disconnecting or Removing Access

Where Meta provides controls for managing applications, integrations, or permissions associated with your account, you may also use those controls to remove or modify access.

Removing access can prevent future access through the affected integration, subject to Meta’s platform behavior. Removing access does not necessarily delete information that Ishi previously received. If you also want applicable information held by Ishi deleted, submit a deletion request using the procedure described above.

Security

Ishi uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through our messaging systems.

Please do not send passwords, access tokens, authentication codes, payment-card credentials, or other highly sensitive authentication information through Instagram messages.

Third-Party Platforms

Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and other Meta services are operated by Meta and are subject to Meta’s own terms, policies, and privacy practices.

This page describes Ishi’s handling of information within Ishi’s control. It does not replace or modify Meta’s policies or describe data processing independently performed by Meta.

Your Other Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law and your circumstances, you may have additional rights concerning your personal information.

For more information about Ishi’s broader privacy practices, please review our Privacy Policy.

You may also review our Terms & Conditions and Studio Policies.
